Sukhraj and I headed out to Its a Grind Coffee House the other day both for a cup of coffee and to check out this trail that she had seen before in passing but never had the chance to really explore. I, of course, wasn’t quite sure where we were headed (as I’m still figuring locations out), but turns out the trail is right by the coffee shop.
As we begin to explore the Oso Creek Trail, the above tree caught our attention. A little further down the trail and I spot one of these Palm trees (on the right), that just seem a little odd to me. Then again, I’m an odd bird so maybe that is why I like the Palm tree.
Along with a wonderful trail, trees, a little water way and wild life, there is also a fantastic collection of flowers and such…
There was an entire bush of these lovely flowers. I had fun playing with my Nikon and capturing some of this sweet beauty. Here is another, that I dedicate to Suki..
This trail is really great, as it winds up and down — if you are looking for a good burn before dinner, check it out.
A little further down the trail, with daylight quickly disappearing, we spotted these little purple and white flowers. This first shot I took of Suki capturing them with her iPhone, I thought this was an interesting shot.
In this last shot, I captured the flowers that Suki was looking at. Beautiful little flowers…
