We were on our way to a beer tasting event at Slater’s 50/50 Burgers by Design, in Huntington Beach, but on the way I capture these fun clouds while waiting for a light.   Just had to share..

The event at Slater’s was fantastic!  Around 20 breweries were in attendance, to show off their proudest brews.  Then Slater’s paired each brew up with some of their amazing food and those tasty burgers.

It would have been handy to know what burger I was about to eat, so some surprises were had, but overall, everything was delicious!

There were many good brews at this tasting, but I would have to say that I had three favorites overall:

• Hanger 24 Brewery- Barrel Roll No. 4 – Hammerhead
• Firestone Walker Brewing Company – Velvet Merlin (killer oatmeal stout!)
• Samuel Adams – Tasman Red

Now, after making several rounds to each brewer — just to be sure — the all important call of nature rings in loud and clear!   For some reason, I felt it necessary to capture the below image — finally, something other than a week old newspaper in the guys bathroom!
